Who We Are

G&H Steel is a specialist structural steel fabrication company delivering complex steelwork for construction, infrastructure and industrial clients. As Cut & Carve Specialists and UKCA Execution Class 3 fabricators, we are trusted to deliver packages where precision, sequencing and structural integrity are critical. Our workshop in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire is equipped to handle everything from primary structural frames to highly engineered bespoke fabrications, and our in-house installation teams are experienced in working within live, constrained and high-risk environments.

What We Do

Our capability spans the full steelwork package — from early design coordination and 3D scanning through fabrication and onsite installation. We work closely with structural engineers and main contractors to ensure every element integrates smoothly with the wider build, reducing RFIs and eliminating costly clashes before steel leaves the workshop.

Our Approach

We use advanced manufacturing and state-of-the-art welding to ensure every fabrication meets the highest standards, and we carry 100% MPI and visual inspections on all onsite welds where required. Whether the package is a 330-tonne underpinning scheme for a live building, modular bridge shuttering for HS2, or a bespoke architectural staircase, we tailor every job to suit the project needs and site conditions.
