Structural Steel

Primary frames and load-bearing structures.

We fabricate and install primary structural steel frames and load-bearing elements for complex buildings and civil structures. Working from approved client drawings and BIM models, our fabrication team uses laser-cut jigs and precision tooling to hold tight tolerances throughout. Whether it's column and beam assemblies, transfer structures, or heavily loaded node connections, we engineer every detail to suit the site — and deliver it ready to bolt up first time.

Secondary Steels

Support elements fabricated to fit precisely.

Secondary steelwork underpins safe and functional sites. We fabricate stairs, mezzanine platforms, edge protection, purlins, bracings, and bespoke support frames to complement the primary structure. Each element is produced to exact dimensions, pre-drilled and trial-fitted where required, so that on-site assembly is fast and disruption to programme is minimal. We regularly manufacture secondary packages as part of larger structural contracts, ensuring all interfaces are co-ordinated from day one.

Temporary Works

Engineered temporary propping, shoring and structural supports.

Live environment projects demand reliable temporary support before permanent works can be completed. We design, fabricate, and install temporary propping and shoring systems, needles, flying shores, and modular falsework. Our experience across complex cut & carve and underpinning packages means we understand how critical sequencing is — temporary works are planned in parallel with permanent steelwork to keep the programme moving safely and efficiently at every stage.

Site Installation

Expert teams delivering precision installation on live sites.

Our in-house installation teams are experienced in working within live, constrained, and high-risk environments — from occupied buildings and operating industrial facilities to busy urban streetscapes. We manage all aspects of on-site erection, including craneage co-ordination, bolted and welded connections, MPI and visual weld inspections, and phased handovers. We hold CSCS and relevant safety accreditations across our workforce, and our supervisors are trained to manage the specific risks that come with complex structural packages.

Design Coordination

Seamless integration from concept through to connection.

We work closely with structural engineers, main contractors, and design teams from early in the programme to ensure steelwork integrates smoothly with the wider build. We use 3D scanning to capture as-built conditions in existing structures, reverse-engineering custom connection plates and splice details to suit irregular or constrained geometries — as demonstrated on our Oxford Street escalator project. Our coordination capability reduces RFIs, eliminates costly clashes, and gives everyone on the team confidence that the steel will fit before it leaves the workshop.

Utilities & Infrastructure

Steelwork for critical utility and infrastructure environments.

We supply and install bespoke steelwork for utility and infrastructure clients, including access platforms, walkways, pipe supports, equipment bases, and cable management structures. Working within pharmaceutical, water, rail, and energy facilities demands a high degree of planning, method statement compliance, and co-ordination with other trades. Our teams are experienced in these environments and understand the heightened safety and quality requirements that come with critical infrastructure projects.

Remediation

Remedial steelwork and structural strengthening.

Existing structures don't always perform as expected, and regulatory requirements evolve. We carry out remedial steelwork including weld repairs, section strengthening, connection modifications, and structural upgrades to bring elements back into compliance or accommodate new loading. Our welders hold the appropriate qualifications under BS EN 1090, and all remedial welds are subject to visual and non-destructive testing as required. We also support clients where design changes have generated clashes or non-conformances that require rapid, practical resolution on site.

Onsite Alterations

Fast, precise alterations that keep your programme on track.

No project runs entirely to plan. When adjustments are needed — whether a connection needs modifying, additional supports are required, or a design change comes through at short notice — our teams respond quickly and without fuss. We mobilise fabricators and welders to site at short notice and combine fabrication, welding, and installation in one visit wherever possible. This single-point approach minimises programme impact and avoids the delays that come with splitting the work between multiple subcontractors.
